We are looking to upgrade outdoor area. We have fabulous views but also want comfortable furniture as we use the space a lot. Inspiration Links

We use the sitting area/tv a lot but the furniture is not very comfortable so looking for a more inviting comfortable space. We use it to relax and watch tv, visit when company is over, etc. Table is very low so not good when having guests over with cheese/crackers/etc. Dinning table is ok and happy to keep if it works. Need a more comfortable reading chair over by master bed. Finally looking to add chaise longes or something to the middle area as well as potentially bar stools to tie the place together and not just be on the edges. Will want an umbrella too that fits the space when done but doesn’t take up too much view when collapsed. We can get pretty high winds so need to be aware of that so pillows or things don’t blow away. We love fire elements too. What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
Nothing has to stay. We do like our large blue pots and plants but open to repositioning. Are you open to changing your wall colors?

Please make sure the overhang is part of our 3D so we know what will be under cover vs fully exposed. We get sun in the winter time and in summer it’s in the front of the house.Forgot to mention there is a transition for water run off. You can see the black tape marks in photos. It goes from zero to 5” step. Need to design with that in mind either a customer legs to balance or in front or behind mark. We are ok to block walk way at the 5” part as people tend to be looking out at view and not see the step.

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white and black as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
