Describe your go-to style:
I've been working as an interior designer for over six years now, and the one style I always find myself drawn to in my own space is a blend of transitional and French country or cottage design. I love mixing vintage and new pieces as it is such a powerful way to add character and make a space feel truly one-of-a-kind. In my own home, I draw a lot of inspiration from my time studying design in Paris, where I fell in love with richly detailed interiors full of color and pattern.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Where I find the most inspiration for designing interiors comes from my travels. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to see the world. With almost 40 countries visited so far, I tend to gather inspiration from the diverse cultures I've encountered. From Moroccan mosaics to Japanese ceramics, traveling has been a valuable educational experience for me as a designer, allowing me to continually find fresh and unique ideas to incorporate into each space.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
I've been drawn to interior design for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in real estate and construction (my family runs a remodeling business in the Chicago suburbs), design was always part of my world. What drives me most in this field is the opportunity to connect with people and help bring their vision of a perfect space to life. For me, the heart of design lies in truly understanding the needs and lifestyle of the individuals or families who will live in the space. My goal is always to create a home that feels not only beautiful but deeply personal, and getting to know each client as if I've known them for years is hands down my favorite part of the job.
