Stephanie grew up surrounded by nature in Denver, CO where she later earned her Interior Design Degree. She has a background in residential and commercial design including clubhouse and active lifestyle communities. Stephanie has always had a passion for design, begging her mom to take to the library to get books filled with floorplans, so she could create spaces and stories for each house. Design has always given her a creative outlet, drawing inspiration from nature, color, and world around her. One of her favorite aspects of design is helping others achieve and fulfilling their design dreams. Stephanie seeks a well-designed space that not only provides functionality but also a space that inspires her clients everyday. "The details are not the details. They make the design." - Charles Eames
Describe your go-to style:
I love working with all types of design styles, however my go to style starts with mid-century modern. I have always been a fan of the clean lines, warm wood tones, and colors of this style. I like to mix it up too, bringing different styles together to create one unique look. I am a big proponent of bold colors, but also appreciate the simplicity of a neutral pallet.
What drives you to design?
Being able to create. I love how design gives me a an outlet where I can let myself think creatively. Mixing colors and patterns help bring my designs to life. Problem solving using creative techniques also drives me to design. Being able to solve an issue by making it functional and at the same being aesthetically pleasing.
Tell us your biggest design secret:
Always use color! Even if color is used in accent pieces, it can help complete a design. There are so many people are afraid of choosing a bold color. Choosing to bring colors into a design can bring it to the next level and completely transform the space.
