Sarah is a designer in Boston with a background in residential and corporate design. Earning a BA in Interior Design with a concentration in Sustainability from Endicott College, she draws much of her inspiration from nature. Her semester abroad in Europe gave her insight into the myriad of architectural and cultural influences. Sarah believes in combining the old and the new in a way that is functional, beautiful, and healthy for both the client and the environment. She hopes to bring together her insights, with the ideas and interests of the client, to create a positive and unique environment.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
What I love most about designing is how an idea can manifest into a living space. Creating a concept, combining the inspiration with the clients’ needs, and seeing it come together is very rewarding. I believe that our environments have a huge impact on our lives and I enjoy helping to create this positive aspect of people’s lives.
Describe your go-to style:
My go to style would be coastal eclecticism. I enjoy the colors and organic elements inspired by the beach, but I also appreciate the simplicity of Nordic design. I gravitate towards a blend of styles that create one cohesive look.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Nature is a huge inspiration in my designs. The forms, colors, and textures are all extremely beautiful and unique. I am always fascinated by the beauty that exists around us, and try to bring this into my designs.
