From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Much of my inspiration is taken from a mixture of my surroundings and the designers I admire. I love the old Bauhaus designs, furniture such as classic Eames and Barcelona chairs. These are timeless design elements which are always in style. I like a number of different styles and try to combine them together in my spaces.
What drives you to design?
I am constantly coming up with new ideas and like change, where I like to improve the functionality of my surroundings. I like to play with new concepts and the use of new materials, especially sustainable products.
What’s your prediction for the next big trend in design?
I think modular and multiple uses in furniture will continue to grow. There’s a growing number of products such as couches, which convert shape and have sleeping modifications as well as coffee tables and kitchen tables which can change shape and form. Many of these products help to create more space when needed and can adapt to peoples needs.
