Describe your go-to style:
My go-to style would definitely be a timeless design that is sophisticated yet livable by using neutral colors, metallics, and rich textures. These materials will always stand the test of time. I love to marry these finishes with natural materials such as wood and stone, while implementing eye-catching elements that add character to a room, and really help the eye travel through the space. I also enjoy mixing different design styles; pairing old with new, traditional with modern. It truly makes the space more diverse and very unique.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
Interior design is not only about creating beautiful spaces, it is about creating spaces that will shape the clients' experience. The profession requires effective problem solving and critical thinking while being creative at the same time. The process of making decisions about color, lighting, materials, and furniture is central to the clients’ emotional impact of the interior space. As a designer, I enjoy these challenges that come with the profession and to be able to be a problem solver while creating a space that evokes emotion is what really drives me in this field.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
I am always on the hunt for interesting and unusual pieces that really add character to any space. These pieces tend to be intentionally ostentatious, but are timeless and can go with the every-changing design trends.
