Tell us your biggest design secret:

-Mix it up! I like to mix design styles, colors, and patterns to create an eclectic environment. I also like to incorporate something that is special to the client in each space. Maybe a piece of artwork, or antique piece of furniture that they already own. I try to make sure that each space has some sort of unique element...maybe a patterned painted ceiling...or a feature wall.

From where do you draw most of your inspiration?

-Everything! I draw my inspiration from everything from photography, to fashion, to travel, to artwork! I carry a little notebook with me all the time so if I see something that inspires me, I can write it down or make a little sketch. I also like to browse sites like Houzz and Pinterest, to find design inspiration.

We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?

-The creativity and inspiration. Inspiration can come from anywhere, and taking that inspiration and turning into a fantastic space, is thrilling! Designing is what I love to do, and being able to help others get the space they are looking for, gives me great satisfaction.
