Christina received her Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture. Post-graduation, she spent 10 years as a designer at a large commercial design firm, working with renowned brands all over the world. Christina then decided to step out on her own and apply the knowledge she'd gained in the commercial design industry in helping homeowners bring their visions to life.
We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?
I have been drawn to design from an early age. What I love most about it, is it's power to evoke emotions within people. Design has the ability to make you feel so many things, whether is nostalgia, comfort, or inspiration. We all have spaces that we're drawn to for one reason or another, and I try to tap into that when designing for my clients. I want them to walk into their new space and feel relaxed in their updated spa-like bathroom retreat, or invigorated in their new home office.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Nature. Our natural surroundings are beautifully sculpted and have exquisite detail. I find a lot of my inspiration from the textures, colors and patterns found in the landscape. I try to capture the beauty of mother nature's composition in my work.
What’s your prediction for the next big trend in design?
Sustainability. This trend is already here, but I believe it will become much more widespread. I've noticed more and more companies getting on board with greener materials and manufacturing. I think there will continue to be a push for sustainable design.
