Amy S

Amy Salazar, ASID, is a Texas State and NCIDQ certified Residential Interior Designer. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a Minor in Art. She is a Professional Member of The American Society of Interior Designers and has over 21 years experience in the Interior Design and Home Furnishings industries. She has had a true "calling" to Interior Design from a very young age and truly feels that if you love what you do you never work a day in your life.

From where do you draw most of your inspiration?

Inspiration usually comes to me from a pattern or color in a beautiful fabric, a painting, a nice area rug, or a magazine or internet photo the client may have found that they like.

We know you love designing, but what about it do you love most?

I love being able to share my creativity, skills and passion with my clients. I love when my enthusiasm for my profession and my passion for what I do shows to my clients and they get just as excited about their project and look forward to the final product.

Describe your ideal project:

My ideal project is a new residential construction project that needs every aspect of the home selected-from exterior finishes, to entire kitchen and bath design, countertops, lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances etc. I love having control over the entire project and having such a profound effect on the functionality and beauty of an entire home.
