Amanda is a licensed interior designer with experience in design, space planning, and project management for both commercial and residential clients. A lover of all things color and pattern, she layers modern design with warmth and personal touches.
Describe your go-to style:
I'm a sucker for all things modern and mid century but I blend them with organic touches, bold patterns, bohemian textures, and smart uses of color. As an 80s kid I often try to add a hint of nostalgia to my spaces.
What drives you to design?
Before I was an interior designer, I was an organizational psychologist. It was through this work that I discovered how our physical environments can influence mood and behavior. For me, design is a true passion and creating amazing interior spaces is my one calling. I am driven to providing impeccable user centered solutions and breath taking style to my clients.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Life! I can and do find inspiration anywhere but mostly I look to vintage fashion, graphic design and landscape architecture. As an avid sewer, I absolutely love handmade elements. My time at Parsons trained me to take cues from unexpected disciplines.
