Describe your go-to style:
I am a jack of all trades and have dabbled in all styles for various clients, but my specialty is definitely a Modern Eclectic style! I love combining pre-owned items with new store bought or even flea market found treasures! Making a space unique, fun and personal is key for a happy home.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Of course I drool over Instagram and Pinterest photos for endless hours of inspiration, but it's really my all time interior designer heroes that get me excited. Jonathan Adler brings a joyful 70's twist to each of his spaces. Nate Berkus raises the bar for mixing nubby textures with relaxing neutrals in a bold way. Emily Henderson makes the flea market scene look expensively chic. David Bromstad is the color guru. Thom Filicia plays with scale and pattern like no other!
Describe your favorite project:
I had the opportunity to work with this amazing young lady on her Master bedroom retreat. She wanted a Hollywood Regency style with a 70's boho twist! Talk about fun and creative! We paired velvet green settees with bold black / white patterned pillows and vintage framed hippie portraits. Neon signs, tan cowhide rugs and elegant tufted headboards all came together in this fun eclectic masterpiece! It's always refreshing when the client is willing to take risks on a bold design to make the space truly personal and their own!
