My biggest passion is interior design. I love the way it makes me feel alive and puts my mind to work. Regardless of the immense attention to detail, concentration, and long hours figuring out how to make everything come together, the result is what makes me feel proud and happy. I enjoy collaborating with clients, and understanding their specific needs and wishes because I can contribute to building the house of their dreams! Putting my imagination, creativity, and artistic direction together to bring projects to life is fulfilling to me.

One thing that most interior designers tend to ignore, is drawing inspiration from clients’ needs & wishes. This is quite important to understand well because interior design projects should not just feature the designer’s creativity and design direction, but also fit the client’s concept! Aside from that, I continuously draw inspiration in my everyday life, whether I am traveling, walking, or doing interior design research work & keeping up with the latest trends. Pinterest and Instagram are great social media sources for boosting my motivation!

It’s no secret the pandemic has affected our lives in many ways, and I can say interior design needs have been affected as well. The latest trends seem to be taking a more eco-friendly approach, with warm tones and natural elements, which in my opinion will never go out of style. Spending more time in our homes than we have ever done, there’s a need for spaces that look calmer, bigger, and cleaner. Using a few shades of the same colour tone can help achieve that result and make it more visually appealing. Sometimes spending too much time in a high contrast room with lots of colours combinations, may be visually overwhelming. Here are some of my artistic suggestions for designing in the midst of a pandemic: -Jungle vibes or sea themes as they bring more life and joy. -The use of artworks such as paintings and sculptures which makes your place unique and can match with almost all styles. -Sustainable fabrics used in curved furnitures with round edges are also great combination that makes the space looks luxurious, vintage and futuristic at the same time.
