My TV Playroom

Late afternoon light

There is a not a great place for the TV - we were thinking of placing the tv in the corner of the room between the french door and the window (we never open that side of the french doors so shouldn't be a problem with obscuring the tv view). We also need to fit in some additional storage for both books, game and kids toys. There is not a lot of extra space for this type of storage so we will need to be creative!

The only thing that will stay is the couch and the TV. Some of the books we are hoping to put in some type of storage unit (such as a bookshelf or modular storage). Everything else will go (including all art on the walls)!

Yes, Area Rugs

This will be a casual tv room and semi-playroom. We don't have kids yet but looking to expand our family soon and have lots of nieces and nephews that come over and play often. We store a lot of their toys at our house and need storage in this room for books (both kids and adults), toys and games that is hidden enough to not feel like just a kid's room. We also definitely want to add an area rug and artwork/decoration for the walls. This is the first room you see when you walk in our home so we want to make sure it's decorated well but comfortable and functional enough for everyday use.
