For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish

The kitchen and living room are open concept, with an arch wall dividing them.
The home is a modern Tudor. I do love the idea of adding details that honor the style, while also keeping the overall design feel clean, cozy minimal (so not overly cluttered or too intricately detailed). I also appreciate wabi sabi/ Japandi concepts where natural materials are beautiful so we don't need to overdo the space if we select the right materials from the start.
I don't love yellow undertones whatsoever, so typically I would choose paint colors that lean neutral in undertones, but that doesn't mean everything is beige or gray. I love blues, greens, wood, white, black, neutral creamy colors. I love texture, old pottery, plants. Overall I want the home to feel luxury, a bit traditional, a bit modern, a bit comfortable and cozy, approachable. We have kids so they need to be able to live without feeling like they have to be too careful in any space.
I can't decide between more traditional (a nod to Tudor style) OR more clean/ contemporary/ organic/ modern. Maybe there is a way to combine?

This bathroom needs to feel serene. Part of me considers also giving it some of the Tudor aspects. This room confuses me a lot because I have various ideas that don't quite go together.
Some visions I have had (in case any of it inspires you)...
- sometimes I think about a bathroom in a style similar to Anne Marie Barton. Her homes use a lot of natural materials and the simplicity of the designs allow the materials to be the star.
- sometimes I think about Amber Lewis style, which feels more rustic and old world.
- sometimes I visualize the shower being finished in tadelakt.
- sometimes I envision walnut color vanities with marble countertops, then other materials in the room to complement.
This room REALLY needs someone to intervene for me!

The Juliet tub will sit in front of the large window. There will be shelving on both ends of it.
The shower is 2 showers in one, with shower heads on both ends, and a rain head in the center.
The facing vanities stress me now (too late) but I would like to find a solution to reducing the 1000 mirror effect when looking in one.
One vanity is longer than the other. The longer side should have a section for seating for the lady to do makeup, etc.

This primary bedroom should feel like a sanctuary. A place to rest and reset. I visualize cozy, comfortable, neutral tones, possibly some contrast if it doesn't scream too loudly. I love the idea of linen textures, a bit of wabi sabi beauty... but still be cohesive throughout the home.
The fireplace section is a sitting space. So far we plan to have a "library" across from the fireplace, but I also don't have a ton of books, so I am open to some of the shelving being closed boxes to keep important sentimental value items for safe keeping. I envisioned a rolling ladder here, too, if it works out. I do want the seating to be plush and cozy, for reading and curling up for naps. I would like the seating to be deep, so that a person can sprawl out with a kid or a pet and still have room to be relaxed.

This primary bedroom should feel like a sanctuary. A place to rest and reset. I visualize cozy, comfortable, neutral tones, possibly some contrast if it doesn't scream too loudly. I love the idea of linen textures, a bit of wabi sabi beauty... but still be cohesive throughout the home.
The fireplace section is a sitting space. So far we plan to have a "library" across from the fireplace, but I also don't have a ton of books, so I am open to some of the shelving being closed boxes to keep important sentimental value items for safe keeping. I envisioned a rolling ladder here, too, if it works out. I do want the seating to be plush and cozy, for reading and curling up for naps.
