The layout seems awkward. Refrigerator sticks out and blocks a sizable area. Some pieces are ragtag borrowed from one place or another to serve a temporary purpose.
What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?:
We are not invested in keeping any part of the kitchen. All appliances can go. Work table can go if it’s function is replaced. Barstools are new and were expensive and I’d prefer to keep them.

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use navy as it has a luxurious and creative aura. In its darkest hues, navy is rich and sophisticated and gives a color scheme more depth. Lighter hues of blue have a relaxing and restful quality and work well in kitchen, and they don’t risk feeling too cool on the color wheel.
Use a satin finish paint which has a bit more gloss than eggshell finish and is a little smoother. This finish is often used for windows, doors, trim, and ceilings, but can also be ideal walls in kids’ rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and other high-traffic areas because it is easier to clean than eggshell finish.
