Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish

We just purchased our first home in Austin, Texas after living internationally for the last 6 years. We traveled for 1 year then spent 5 of those years in Mexico City. We fell in love with the Mexican culture and connection to nature, more distinctly seen in areas like Oaxaca and Puerto Escondido, but also captured in many of the homes, restaurants and buildings in the city. They make use of open spaces, use earthy materials, balance moody organic with boho, and occasionally layer in rich, bold accents.
