Dining Room- I was thinking of adding an art wall gallery display to the back wall of the dining room. I also don’t need an office space but a desk will work that would be fine. I am open to painting the white bookcase with the television in it another color if that would be beneficial. There is a fireplace mantle sitting on the base of the fireplace that is not hung up yet I am not sure if the brick on the fireplace should be painted white. The four individual units stacked on top of each other next to the fireplace are possible to on stack and set in a row of four so they are shorter I guess the most important thing to convey there is that they are four separate units not two units side-by-side as they look right now. I’m happy to paint or wallpaper the room or paint the louvered window treatments.

wanting the room to have a strong visual appeal and be cohesive.Right now this is a living room and a dining room combination but I’m not interested in having the dining room anymore because it is too small to function properly.
I would like to keep the couch the louvers on the windows and the built-in entertainment center with the television. I also like the coffee table but I am open to your ideas there. As I mentioned in the paragraph above the wood shelving units next to the fireplace are actually four individual pieces and can be moved to a different location in the room I don’t really have another location in the house to put them so I’d like to keep them if possible. The rug underneath the couch is made of recycled denim from India and I like it but if you find something that you think is much better I’m open to that as well.

I like eclectic decor and tend towards blues and greens. Was considering painting the hardwood floors white or refinishing.
