Looking to design our kitchen, living room and dinning room. We need help with selecting furniture, paint, kitchen cabinet, appliance, lighting selection, floor selection and window treatment

There is nothing in this room at the moment. It's newly renovated. We would like a cozy, comfortable, modern feel to this room. We are open to the paint color but would like to stick more to classic, neutral colors as oppose to bright colors. There is a huge window along the side of this room and also it gets light in from another window that's a bit lower (it's by the stairs as you come up into this living room) but across from it. I would say it's bright.

What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?:

We have nothing that we are keeping. We would like to have a TV and a nice sofa, area rug, and center table similar to the pics we upload. We would like it to feel light and not clutter. Not too much furniture.

Since your room is large your color options with this room are quite broad

For your main color, we chose to use white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use a matte finish paint because it will be helpful in camouflaging those surface imperfections such as bumps and cracks as it does not reflect light. Just be careful because matte finish is more difficult to clean. You may also need to touch up scratches or marks by adding more of the same paint in the future.

I was looking at the renderings again and I wonder what you think of the idea of a sofa table behind the couch? It would add a nice layer to the space and provide a spot for some decor and maybe a lamp.

I came across this table the other day and I love it! It would be a nice link to the wood pieces we are using on the lower level. What do you think?

I'm so pleased that you like how the bathroom has come together. I actually used the same marble tile on the floor and the shower walls. I love repeating materials in a space and that tile is so beautiful I thought it worked well on both surfaces.

1. The flooring shown on the renderings is the very first one I proposed. It may look lighter because of the natural light. If it helps, I can adjust a bit. Can you tell me how different it looks on your screen? darker or lighter?
