The room has a large beautiful Palladian window that I love but the light wakes me too early in the morning. I have no way of closing this off when I want to sleep in, yet easily enjoy the beautiful view of the moon and stars when laying in bed. The wall color and the carpet. The room has a trey type ceiling that is currently all white and adds no drama to the room.

Since your room is smaller using a dark and rich color will make it feel cozy, warm, and lounge-like
For your main color, we chose to use blue because it is calming, relaxing, and serene. It ris reminiscent of blue skies and deep blue oceans. This color works well in bedrooms and can help turn your space into a soothing sanctuary.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
